YOU CAN ONLY PICK ONE TAG

Before I start work in the morning I always go through my bloglovin’ feed and read countless posts about various different things. One thing I am always interested in is ‘tag’ posts, and as this morning I saw that the fabulous Agent Smyth’s blog had posted a ‘You can only pick one – Beauty tag’ post, I thought I would write myself one on this quiet Monday morning.

My make up collection is growing extremely fast, I’m constantly trying new items and techniques so having to just pick one of each is going to be a slight challenge for me, but here we goooo…

Low End Brand; Bourjois
I absolutely love Bourjois, their foundation shades always match my skin perfectly. I also really love their velvet lip collection and Summer Bronzing Range

High End Brand; Benefit
Benefit is definitely my favourite high end brand, I have loads of items that are essential to my makeup bag from them. Their gorgeous packaging and intuitive product ideas make me love them even more, and in particular the ‘they’re real range’

Primer; Max Factor Facefinity All Day Primer
I have tried many many primer’s in my time in all different price ranges and from countless brands so I was super shocked when I realised how much I love Max Factor’s Facefinity All Day Primer. It sets into my skin so well, and has such a lovely texture. It keeps my makeup on, even in hot days. I just can’t fault it and that’s why it’s always my to go primer. (Along with Benefit’s porefessional to mask those naughty pores)

Foundation/BB Cream/Tinted Moisturiser;  Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation
As I mentioned, Bourjois foundation’s just match my skin colour very very well. This foundation gives me a very even yet great coverage, and can easily be built up for a full coverage on those days when my skin isn’t playing ball.

Eyeshadow/Pallete; MUA Heaven and Earth Palette
I absolutely love this eyeshadow pallete, it contains 12 different neutral and brown shades, and I use every single one of them. The quality of the eyeshadows are great and paired with bareMinerals eyelid primer they stay on perfectly all day. This is also a pretty much perfect

Concealer; E.L.F All Over Cover Stick
I added this little cover stick to my basket on my E.L.F haul as it was only £1 (with 50% discount). For £1 I wasn’t really expecting anything great but I absolutely love it! It’s such a creamy and blendable formula that gives a really great coverage, and is perfect for pesky under eye bags. This colour also matches my skin perfectly, I literally couldn’t wish for anything more than this and especially for £2 it’s an absolute steal

Bronzer; bareMinerals Warmth All-Over Face
This was probably one of the first bronzers I have ever tried but immediately fell in love with. It gives such a natural bronzed effect and blends effortlessly.

Blush; NARS Blush in ‘Orgasm’
As I’m sure everyone knows by now, NARS Blushes have become such a cult product for many beauty fans, and I hold my hands up to being one of these. I absolutely love the Orgasm shade, it has such a beautiful yet natural look, with a gorgeous gold shimmer undertone. You can read my full review of this, here.

Powder; bareMinerals Original
I will always be a dedicated fan of bareMinerals, and this product is mainly why. It’s such a great powder that can differ in coverage so easily. It’s great to use as quick powder on a hot effortless day, or can be used for a much fuller coverage if that’s what  you need.

Setting Spray; E.L.F Studio Makeup Mist and Set
I have only tried a couple of settings sprays but this E.L.F one stood out. It definitely keeps my makeup in place a longer than usual, but also feels so refreshing in the morning on your face

Eyebrow Product; MUA Pro Brow
This little eyebrow kit is perfect for me, the colour matches my eyebrows perfectly and the wax keeps my brows in place all day. It contains 3 shades of brow powder, fixing gel, mini tweezers and a brush. The tweezers that come with it are actually really good too – great little product with an even better price of £3.50

Eyeliner; Benefit They’re Real Push-Up Liner
My full review of this little beauty will be up in a couple of days (as soon as I take the pictures – oops), but in the mean time, I absolutely love this eyeliner – it’s so so easy!

Mascara; Bourjois Volume Glamour Max
I rarely ever go back to a mascara after it’s run out because there is so many on the market to chose from I like to try a different one each time. However, this is the only mascara I have ever gone back to. It gives my eyelashes such length and volume without weighing them down, it also stays on all day but is easy to remove at the end of the day.

Lipstick/Lipgloss/Lip Balm; Chanel Rouge Coco in ‘Mademoiselle’
This is a beautiful, easy to apply lipstick which is a lovely medium pink shade with a slight brown edge. Its a classic “my lips but better” shade that I always end up going back to

Nail Polish;Barry M Matt Black
I absolutely love matt make up items, whether it’s lip products or eye shadows, but espicially nail varnishes. It’s a black matt nail varnish from the well known Barry M, what more is there to say?

Beauty Tool; Real Techniques Buffing Brush
A huge portion of my brushes are Real Techniques but this buffing brush is my all time favourite. It buffs liquid foundation into my skin like a dream with no marks and even coverage. I absolutely love it.

The Nars blushes look so pretty, I hope Santa brings me one.
I love Benefit too, but I don’t think i’ve tried any Bourjois yet… I’ve heard all good things so I must check it out!
