Earlier this month I was lucky enough to be invited to the glossybox and rituals indulgent shopping evening in St. Pancres in London, you can read my full post of that here. This meant I was given my glossybox earlier than release, so I was super excited, but was sworn to secrecy not to reveal the contents until the 16th.. so finally here is my June glossybox…
The items I received this month were;
> Nail Girls (10ml): 3-in-1 Base/Topcoat & Nail Strengthener RRP £13.50 for 15ml
> TeeezTrend Cosmetics (Full Size): Beautiful Flat Stiff Brush RRP approx £15
> Rituals (Full Size): Gi Gong Spray RRP £3.50
> QV Skincare (15ml): QV Skin Lotion RRP £6.06 for 250ml
> So Susan Cosmetics (Full Size): Universal Blush RRP £18
Nail Girls (10ml): 3-in-1 Base/Topcoat & Nail Strengthener RRP £13.50 for 15ml
The very occasional time I ever paint my nails I always struggle to find a base or top coat in my house so I know this product will come in handy. I have extremely weak nails (especially after wearing gel nails for months on end) and I’ve been putting this on every day since I received it, to see if it makes a difference and I actually think it has. It makes my nails look much healthier and gives them a nice shine. I really do like this product and hopefully it will make a difference to my weak nails in the long run!
TeeezTrend Cosmetics (Full Size): Beautiful Flat Stiff Brush RRP approx £15
Recently I have become slightly obsessed with makeup brushes, so to see another to add to my collection makes me extremely happy. I have never heard of this makeup brush brand before so that’s something new and exciting for me to delve into. The design on this brush is really different and quirky which I like, the bristles feel sturdy yet soft and like they are going to do a good job applying any eye shadow and it isn’t going to malt. I will definitely take a look further into this brand and see if anything catches my eye!
Rituals (Full Size): Gi Gong Spray RRP £3.50
After attending the rituals event earlier this month I have to say I have fallen in love with this brand. This is actually a deodorant which I think is actually a really great edition to a glossybox. Everyone needs deodorant and this range is so great that it’s a perfect addition to my already growing rituals collection. This spray is infused with white lotus and nourishing yi yi ren, it is meant to deliver 24 our protection and has a lovely summery scent. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a change to their regular deodorant.
QV Skincare (15ml): QV Skin Lotion RRP £6.06 for 250ml
“A great all-rounder that can be used as a dry skin relief and to remove make-up”. I have yet to hear of a lotion that you can use to either moisturise dry skin or to remove make-up. This sounds like a great all round product that will be great to keep in handy, for those nights when you aren’t expecting to stay out and wake up with a face full of smudged makeup. It’s a tiny 15ml bottle so will fit into any nook or cranny you can find. It rubs in really well and doesn’t leave grease afterwards, which is my pet hate with lotions!
So Susan Cosmetics (Full Size): Universal Blush RRP £18
I’m always up for trying a new blusher so when I saw this in my Glossybox I was very happy. So Susan is a brand I have used before, I’m still in love with their luminizer which I use on a very regular basis. This blush is a lovely pink colour with a slight gold shimmer undertone to it, it gives a really nice healthy glow which I love.
I have to admit when I first opened my Glossybox it wasn’t love at first sight, but the more I have had a look into the products and tested them the more I have falledn in love. So this month I am very impressed with my Glossybox and am super excited to see what’s in store for this month.
