Love Me Beauty June 2014 Review

My lovemebeauty box was my last subscription box to be delivered this month, but I was excited as ever. If you have read my blog before or anyone else’s with a lovemebeauty review you will know it is a slightly different ‘procedure’ to the normal beauty subscription box. Lovemebeauty will email all their subscribers letting them know that ‘The Boutique’ is open. The Botique contains 3 different “menu’s” full of items you can have in your subscription box this month. If one of those menus takes your fancy, you can order it, if not you can skip a month without any hassle. Lovemebeauty is £12.95 including shipping, which is pretty standard for a beauty subscription box.DSCF2124This month I chose the lovemebeauty menu 2, which included the following items;
> Model Co (Full Sized): Eye Define Eye Pencil in Black RRP £9
> NYX Cosmetics (Full Sized): Nail Polish in ‘Exotic Shades’ RRP £3
> Montagne Jeunesse (Full Sized): Hot Spring Sauna Masque RRP £1
> Urban Veda (Sample): Purifying Daily Facial Wash RRP £7.99 for 150ml
> Beauty UK (Full Sized): High Brow Kit RRP £3.99

Model Co (Full Sized): Eye Define Eye Pencil in Black RRP £9

This is actually the third one of these eyeliners I have owned now. This is my ‘go to’ daily eyeliner, I have been using it ever since I received one in my Birchbox a long time ago, I have re-purchased since then and now have received this one! This is a great simple black eyeliner with a sharpener inside the lid, the pencil itself is nice and soft and doesn’t scratch my eyelids. My other version of this is nearly dead so this is really welcomed and one of the main reasons I chose menu 3 this month.

NYX Cosmetics (Full Sized): Nail Polish in ‘Exotic Shades’ RRP £3

I received the silver shade of nailvarnish which looks to me like it has tiny bits of confetti in it. It doesn’t have a colour to it so it would be perfect to snazz up a boring colour to add a bit of sparkle on top.

Montagne Jeunesse (Full Sized): Hot Spring Sauna Masque RRP £1

This is the second Montagne Jeunesse face mask I have received this month in subscription boxes, I received my other in my you beauty discovery box (you can read my review here). I think it’s always nice to have a face mask tucked away ready for one of those days you want to laze around or if you’re having a particulary bad skin day. This mask “is bursting with nutrients, the ground Volcanic Spring Powder and chopped Ginger in this gentle self-warming sauna mask will open up pores for a deep cleanse”. I especially love a self-heating mask as it always feels like they are always actually doing something, so I am looking forward to using this.

Urban Veda (Sample): Purifying Daily Facial Wash RRP £7.99 for 150ml
“This daily face wash has been naturally formulated to cleanse and purify. It help treat blackheads, excess se-bum and clear toxins with antioxidants for a clear complexion”.
Urban Veda is a brand I have seen before and heard about but not one I have actually tried so it was exciting to see this in the menu choices this month. This is a lovely size to keep for travelling instead of bringing a whole full sized face wash with you. I love to keep little bits like this in a big bag and then when I go away I have a lot of little bits to choose from to bring with me.

Beauty UK (Full Sized): High Brow Kit RRP £3.99

I love trying new brow products as I am kind of a newbie when it comes to sorting my eyebrows out. I currently only own one brow palette (MUA brow kit) so this is a great addition, it contains 3 shades of powder, colourless wax, tweezers and a double ended applicator. This would be a great little kit for travelling as it really does come with everything you need for the ‘perfect brow’.

Lovemebeauty is one of my favourite subscription boxes I receive, the products are always affordable so if you fall in love with something you recieve it’s pretty much readily available for you to purchase again. This month my box was worth around £20, and considering I only paid £12.95 that’s great. I will also make use of everything in this box minus the nail varnish, which I never know may come in handy one day. Overall I am really impressed with this months box and am looking forward to seeing what’s on their menu’s next month.

If you fancy trying out the lovemebeauty subscription box you can do so through this link. If you are already signed up, what box did you get this month and was it the right pick for you?
