Latest in Beauty have teamed up with Glamour magazine to bring you a beauty box filled to the brim with 9 products, 8 of which are full sized for only £16.95 (including P&P)
I have been eye’ing up Latest in Beauty’s site for quite some time, checking all of the beauty boxes and collaborations they release. As soon as I saw this Glamour Beauty Edit Box, I knew I had to order one and see what all the fuss was about from the last round!
This box includes a bit of everything, with skincare, make-up, hair and nail products! The following is what you will receive;
> Illamasqua Glamore Lipstick in “Naked”, Full Sized : RRP £18.50
> Crabtree & Evelyn Nail Lacquer, Full Sized: RRP £6.00
> Rimmel Sun Shimmer Instant Tan BB Skin Perfector, Full Sized (125ml) : RRP £6.99
> Hawaiin Tropic Satin Sun Protection Sun Lotion, SPF30, Full Sized (100ml) : RRP £5.49

Illamasqua Glamore Lipstick in “Naked”, Full Sized : RRP £18.50
I am a huge fan of lip products, so any time I receive any in the post I am super excited to try them, but especially so when it’s part of a brand new range released only a couple of days before! Illamasqua’s Glamore Nude Lipsticks is a new range consisting of seven beautiful creamy nude shades. I received the shade “Naked”, which is a lovely understated nude tone with a slight tan undertone, it’s a lovely addition to my lipstick collection and is beautiful to wear.
Crabtree & Evelyn Nail Lacquer, Full Sized: RRP £6.00
I didn’t actually know that Crabtree & Evelyn made nail varnishes so this was a nice surprise! As I always say with nail varnishes, they aren’t my thing but my sister is very happy to accept them for her collection! I love the packing on this little bottle and the colour is beautiful. For a nail varnish fan this would have been a great addition to this box
DHC Deep Cleansing Oil, Travel Sized (30ml), RRP £4.50
Since suffering from quite severe acne and extremely oily skin as an early teenager, the thought of putting even more oil onto my face kind of scares me. I have read many reviews for this and everyone seems to love it, it is a “skin-loving” formula that removes dirt, grime and makeup in one easy swipe. I will definitely try this but maybe on a day where I am at home lazying around in case it just doesn’t agree with my skin.
Rimmel Sun Shimmer Instant Tan BB Skin Perfector, Full Sized (125ml) : RRP £6.99
This is a product that I wasn’t really expecting to like, but I really do. It looks really dark when it originally comes out of the tube, but once it has been rubbed into the skin, it looks really natural. It can last up to 24 hours and has ‘9 in 1’ results including softening, smoothing, moisturising and perfecting skin. This would be great for a night out when you just want to give your skin an instant and healthy looking tan.
Velvotan The Self Tan Applicator Mitt, Full Sized : RRP £3
I don’t actually own a self tan applicator, so this is very much welcomed. It promises to give your tan a pro finish and has a waterproof barrier which won’t stain your hands. This can also be used with the Rimmel Instant Tan I mentioned earlier, so a perfect combo!
Hawaiin Tropic Satin Sun Protection Sun Lotion, SPF30, Full Sized (100ml) : RRP £5.49
Hawaiin Tropic is a really well known brand of sun lotion, it smells lovely and is a great size for keeping in the bottom of your beach bag. This has been donated to my sister who is off on holiday on Monday. She has a lot fairer skin that me, so factor 30 is perfect for her.
Magnifibres Brush-On False Lashes, Full Sized : RRP £21
This is my favourite item from the whole box, and it was partially the reason that I bought it. Considering that this RRP’s at £21, and the box cost less than £17 it’s definitely a bargain! You simply coat your eyelashes with your favourite mascara as you usually would, then before it has dried, brush on the fibres, and then another layer of your normal mascara. I was quite sceptical about how well this would work but it’s actually fantastic! I do enjoy wearing false eyelashes when I’m going “out out”, but other than that I tend to stay away from them as the glue gunks up my lashes. These fibres don’t affect your natural lashes, and it is easy to get off with makeup remover at the end of the day!
Bourjois Cream Blush in “02 – Healthy Glow”, Full Sized : RRP £7.99
I have always wanted to try a cream blush but I’ve never actually got round to buying one. I am still so in love with my NARS Blush that I haven’t even been looking to try alternatives. This is a really cute coral colour and I’m sure will look lovely on a nice summers day (if we get any more of those here in England!). I will have to get to grips with using a cream blusher instead of my trusty powder but I am looking forward to trying something new!
Toni & Guy Volume Plumping Whip, Full Sized (90ml), RRP £7.00
I am a massive fan of anything that can help my hair have some extra volume and body as my hair is very long so it weighs down. This states it “creates all-day body and bounce from the roots, without flyaways” I have used many Toni & Guy products in my time and I have to say I’ve never been disappointed. Hopefully this will live up to the brand and be great for giving my hair the volume it truly needs!
If you read my blog you will be fully aware that I absolutely LOVE a subscription beauty box, but sometimes I find they’re a bit disappointing when it comes down to it. However, this Glamour Beauty Edit Box was completely different in my view. All the products were really good picks, and the fact that 8 out of 9 items are full size really impresses me. The value is also super amazing, the box costs £16.95 including P&P but all the items combined retail for over £86! If you can’t say that is impressive I don’t know what is! If you fancy buying one of these fabulous boxes, you can do so here.
