A HUGE Beauty Bay Haul

About a month ago, for some reason I was having a really great lucky streak and amongst other things, actually ended up winning a £200 voucher for a beauty site of my choice in a raffle. As I’m sure you can imagine, I was super, super excited, and after a lot of deliberation, I chose Beauty Bay as the site, and then spent days pondering over what I wanted to pick up. I’m really happy with the bits I ordered, and wanted to share the products I chose with you guys, so if you’re nosey like me, or if you’ve ever wanted to know what a £200 Beauty Bay Haul looks like, keep reading…

Huge Beauty Bay UK Haul emilyloula blog Zoeva Golden Brush Set Review

Zoeva | Golden Brush Set > £65.00

I’ve wanted to get my hands on one of Zoeva’s gorgeous brush sets for a long time, as I love their single brushes but paying out £65 in one go has always seemed a bit much. But as soon as I won the Beauty Bay voucher – I knew that this was the first thing I was going to pop into my online basket. I had a bit of trouble deciding which brush set to buy, as Zoeva seem to have so many different ones now, all with a unique but great selection of brushes. I finally settled on the original Zoeva Golden Brush Set, and I’m so happy with my choice. I’ve used every single brush within the set now, and I’m a big fan of all of them, so much so that I think I’m going to have to buy another set! They’re so great quality, and look sooo pretty – I really do think they live up to the hype!

Huge Beauty Bay UK Haul emilyloula blog Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette Review

Zoeva | Cocoa Blend Palette > £18.00
Mario Badescu | Premier Glycolic Foaming Cleanser & Glycolic Acid Toner > Free Samples

Another thing from Zoeva that’s been highly hyped recently, is their eyeshadow palettes. Along with their brushes, I’ve also had my eye on their Cocoa Blend Palette for a while, so this also went straight into my basket with them too. The shades in this palette are incredibly pigmented, are unlike any others I have in my collection and have such a creamy texture – I’m absolutely loving so far. I haven’t really had the chance to properly play around with this palette yet, as I’ve got so many new eyeshadows recently (oops), but I can’t wait to try out some new looks with it soon. Aren’t the shades so pretty?!

With every Beauty Bay order over £60, you’re upgraded to their ‘Premier’ delivery service, which includes a free deluxe sample gift of your choice. I’ve previously tried some Mario Badescu skincare before from Beauty Bay and really enjoyed it, so I chose this Glycolic cleanser and toner from the list of freebies. I’ve put these in with my travel mini’s as they’d be perfect to go away with so I haven’t tried them out just yet but I’ve got high hopes for them!

Huge Beauty Bay UK Haul emilyloula blog Morphe 12NB Natural Beauty Eyeshadow Palette LA Girl Pro Conceal Morphe M330 Brush Review

Morphe | 12NB Natural Beauty Eyeshadow Palette > £11.95
Morphe | M330 Blending Crease Brush > £4.75
LA Girl | Pro Conceal HD Concealer > £5.00

Although I seem to have accumulated a lot of eyeshadow palettes recently, I couldn’t help but adding a Morphe palette into my Beauty Bay basket as well. I never tried any Morphe eyeshadows before, but they are very highly regarded in the beauty industry – especially on YouTube so I couldn’t resist. The only palette left in stock that I thought I would get a lot of use out of was this Morphe 12NB Natural Beauty Palette – which has such a gorgeous selection of natural shades. This palette is quite small – and very light, so it’s actually perfect to take away with you for a couple of days, as you can get a few different day time, and night looks out of this. Again, I haven’t had time to test this out properly, but I did use it quickly the other day, and as first impressions go I’m really impressed. The shades swatch really nicely, are really pigmented, and as far as I can tell, blend very well. I’m really happy with this palette, and I can’t wait to test it out further, as I think it’s got a lot of potential.

Another product that I’ve heard a lot of great things about is LA Girl’s Pro Conceal HD Concealer and since I’m on the lookout for a new high coverage concealer, I thought I may as well add it into my basket. I had to guess my shade online, and unfortunately I think this is slightly too dark for me, so I’m going to have to keep it until the summer when I’ve got a bit more colour about me. This has a quite thick, yet creamy consistency, so I think it would be great to cover up some of my more stubborn blemishes. I haven’t quite decided yet whether I’m just going to wait until the summer to try it out properly, or whether I’m going to order a lighter shade so I can really test it out – I’ll let you guys know, but again I’ve got high hopes for this!

Along with Zoeva, my other favourite brand of eyeshadow brushes has to be Morphe. I’ve got a fair few single eyeshadow brushes from them, as they’re really great quality and are a complete bargain, so I picked up another – their M330 Blending Crease Brush. Like their other brushes, this is super soft, and does a great job – this one is the perfect size to blend all my eyeshadows in together as the final touch. I’m a big fan, and I’m looking forward to picking up some more of Morphe brushes shortly.

Huge Beauty Bay UK Haul emilyloula blog Gerard Cosmetics Slay All Day Spray Stila One Step Correct

Gerard Cosmetics | Slay All Day Setting Spray in Green Tea > £12.50
Stila > One Step Correct Primer > £22.50

I’ve tried a few setting sprays in my time, but none of them have really impressed me all that much to continue using them. That was until I tried Gerard Cosmetic’s Slay All Day Setting Spray. This new setting spray comes in a few different scents, including lemon grass, peach, lavender and more – it actually took me a little while to chose which one I wanted. I finally picked the Ginger and Green Tea, and I’m really pleased with my choice as it’s such a lovely, calming scent. I absolutely love the name ‘Slay All Day’, the packaging is fab, the scent is gorgeous and it definitely helps to keep my makeup on – there’s nothing not to love here in my opinion! I might even pick up another bottle in a different scent… as a back up you know…

Another thing I’ve had my eye on for a while is Stila’s One Step Corrector Primer, but I’ve never gotten around to picking it up for some reason, so when I saw that it was stocked on Beauty Bay, I bit the bullet and added it to my cart. Since it was delivered, I’ve been using it pretty much everyday, and I’ve literally now fallen in love with this little bottle. Firstly, I love the packaging, and how cool the little individually swirled colours are in the tube. I also love how it feels on my skin, as it’s not silicone or slimy at all, it feels slightly hydrating actually, and it definitely helps to colour correct – especially the redness in my skin. I’m so, so pleased that I chose to order this – as it’s literally become my favourite ever primer – a big thumbs up from me!

Huge Beauty Bay UK Haul emilyloula blog Makeup Geek Shadows

Makeup Geek | Duochrome Eyeshadow Pans in Ritzy and Steampunk > £4.95
Makeup Geek | Eyeshadow Pans in Prom Night, Goddess, Taupe Notch, Brownie Point and Beaches and Cream > £4.95

Makeup Geek have very recently become my favourite eyeshadows, and as I’m attempting to fill up my magnetic palette (featured here), I couldn’t resist picking up some more shades with my voucher. I hadn’t actually tried any of their ‘Duochrome’ shadows, so I ordered two of these in the shades ‘Ritzy’ and ‘Steampunk’ – both of which are gorgeous shades. I have quite a long list of the Makeup Geek shades I want to add to my palette so this voucher enabled me to tick a few more of these off, and I ended up buying 5 more of their standard eyeshadow pans. I ordered Prom Night, Goddess, Taupe Notch, Brownie Point and Beaches and Cream. As expected with Makeup Geek, these shades are incredibly pigmented, have great colour pay off, and wear really nicely throughout the day.

UPDATE: I have now officially completed my Makeup Geek personalised palette, so if you fancy seeing my entire Makeup Geek Eyeshadow Collection With Swatches post, have a little peek – you may get some inspiration!

Huge Beauty Bay UK Haul emilyloula blog LA Splash La Girl Gerard Cosmetics Hydra Matte Liquid Lipsticks

LA Girl | Matte Flat Finish Pigment Gloss in Fantasy > £5.00
LA Splash | Forbidden Kiss VelvetMatte Liquid Lipstick in Seductress > £11.25
Gerard Cosmetics | Hydra Matte Liquid Lipstick in Cher > £9.50

Liquid Lipsticks are my new obsession – I’ve recently become addicted to trying every formula I can get my hands on, so it was only natural for me to add a few into my online cart. I really wanted to order one of Dose Of Colour’s Liquid Matte Lipsticks but unfortunately at the time they only had a few bright colours that I wouldn’t wear so I passed on those – maybe next time… I decided on one liquid lipstick each from three brands – La Girl, LA Splash and Gerard Cosmetics. I ended up picking up pretty much exactly the same shade in the Gerard Cosmetics Hydra Matte and the LA Splash Velvet Matte Liquid Lipsticks, which luckily I absolutely love, and it’s so ‘my shade’ so I’m not really bothered in that aspect. Both of them sit really nicely on the lips, and wear really well, but the LA Splash one has seriously impressive wear time – this literally does not budge and is actually quite a struggle to remove at the end of the night. I love the matte formula of both, and I’m really happy that I’ve gotten to try them out – I’m sure some further shades will make their way into my collection in no time.

However, the LA Girl Matte Flat Finish Gloss came in much more of a bright pink shade than I was expecting, so I’m not sure that I will get much use out of this at all, but if so it will be in the summer. The formula is quite nice though, as it doesn’t dry down fully as a matte like the other two, so it’s much more hydrating. Because of this, the wear time isn’t nearly as good as the others, but that’s personally what I would expect from this type of product. Again, I’m pretty impressed with this formula, so next time I make a Beauty Bay order I’ll be sure to pick up some more shades.

So that’s everything I picked up from Beauty Bay with my voucher – the order literally came to £200.10, so I definitely made good use out of it, don’t you think?! It took me a while to choose what I wanted to order, but I’m so happy with my picks and I know that I’ll get a lot of use out of these products! I’d love to hear what you would have ordered if you were to win a £200 makeup voucher – or even where you would chose to spend yours!

What would you have ordered from Beauty Bay? Would you have picked up any of the same products I did? Are you a fan of my choices? As always, I’d love to have a read of your thoughts in the comments and thank you so much for reading!
