Review: LUSH D’Fluff Strawberry Shaving Soap

When I pass LUSH whilst out shopping, I often forget what a large range of products they have, and it’s not just the huge variation of bath bombs you see when passing the window. So when I was shopping the other day and had some time to spare, I had a really good browse and ended up leaving with quite a few bits. One of these bits is the gorgeous Lush D’Fluff Strawberry Shower Cream which I’ll review for you today.

lush d'luff strawberry shaving soap reviewI’ve never really ventured far in the shaving foam market, just using whatever can I find is on offer and looks OK on my trip to Boots. I’m not sure you can really go far wrong BUT you can definitely go a step better, and that’s where D’Fluff comes in.

This pot of goodness has the most amazing smell, it’s packed with real strawberries so there’s no synthetic plasticy strawberry scent here. It contains golden syrup, rosehip oil and cocoa butter, which makes it highly moisturising and soothing on the skin.

You apply this as you would normally a shaving foam, and shave as normal but the after effects are amazing. After shaving, my legs felt soo smooth, even more than normal and I didn’t get any cuts or nicks which is often an occurrence for me. As this is a thicker consistency than most shaving foams you will need to clean your razor more often than normal, but that doesn’t bother me at all.

lush d'luff strawberry shaving soap review instructionsI’m so impressed with D’Fluff. Shaving my legs is one of the banes of my life, so anything that makes the task more enjoyable – I’m all in. This smells incredible, works amazingly and leaves my skin feeling nourished and moisturised. It can be used wherever on your body you need to ‘de-fluff’ and is uni-sex, so can be shared with a loved one (if you don’t want to keep it all for yourself)

You only need to use a little bit at a time, so it goes a long way. A 70g tub will only set you back £5.75, and the larger tub £9.95 for 100g, both of which can be bought instore or online from LUSH.

If you’ve tried D’Fluff before – let me hear your thoughts! What’s your favourite product from LUSH?
