If you read my Makeup Revolution haul here, you will know that I’m a huge fan of the brand, and everything I have tried from them so far. The absolutely stunning Ultra Blush and Contour Palette in Golden Sugar (£6) is no exception to this.
This is Makeup Revolution’s third blush palette, but this one includes a collection of bronzers, merged blushers, merged baked highlighters and a baked bronzer, with a selection of shimmer and matte shades. Isn’t it beautiful?
As with all of Makeup Revolution’s products, this palette feels really sturdy and well made, the lid closes properly and there’s a generously sized, quality mirror. For £6, you get 8 shades, which works out to be less than 75p each, so this is really amazing value for money – especially considering the quality of the product.
To look at this palette, I honestly think it’s absolutely stunning, especially the shades with the marbled effect, making it look much pricier than it actually is. The formula of the shades is really great, they’re creamy, making them a dream to apply, without any patchiness in sight. You only need a light hand with these, as they are all really pigmented, but they blend out really easily giving a lovely finish.
Unfortunately, Makeup Revolution haven’t named the shades in this palette, so I have numbered them for your reference. Shade 1, which is a crystal white highlight shade looks quite scary in the pan, but once it’s blended out it’s absolutely gorgeous and one of my favourites from this palette. Another one of my favourite shades is 3, which is a satin finish pink colour which looks lovely as an everyday blush. Shade 8, is the matte bronzer from the palette, which is great for adding some warmth to my face. I personally wouldn’t be able to contour with this shade as I have quite a light skintone, but for deeper tones I think it would be perfect.
Again, Makeup Revolution have impressed me big time with this Blush Palette, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to branch out in their blush/bronzer collection. Especially for £6 its an absolute steal, you can pick this up from Superdrug or on their website here
