One brand that has really caught my attention in the last year is Makeup Revolution, and last week was an exciting time for them as they celebrated their first birthday. As a gift to their customers, Makeup Revolution added £25 worth of products to every order that was above £25 for a week. There was no better time for me to add all those bits I had been lusting for into my online basket.
My order from Makeup Revolution came to just over £35, which is amazing value, even without the free gifts – super impressed. I picked up some bits that I had, had my eyes on for a while, especially including the Naked Chocolate Palette, The One Blush Stick & The Highlighter Palette.
Items I ordered:
> #Liphug in ‘Insatiable’
> #Liphug in ‘To Get Lucky’
> #Liphug in ‘Save Me From Yourself’
> #Liphug in ‘Love Can Set You Free’
> I Love Makeup Naked Chocolate Palette
> Pro Fix Oil Control Makeup Fixing Spray
> Highlighter Palette ‘Radiance’
> The One Blush Stick in ‘Matte Dream’

I’ve only just received this order so I haven’t had a proper chance to have a play with everything but as first impressions go, I’m very very happy. I was like a kid in a sweet shop when I opened this parcel, everything looks even more gorgeous in person, and feels really well made, especially for the price. I couldn’t believe how much of the order was the free gift, Makeup Revolution had been really generous with this.
My special mention from this haul is the absolutely gorgeous, Naked Chocolate Palette, I mean just look at it! My little sister genuinely thought it was a real bar of chocolate when it arrived. This palette is literally my idea of heaven, I will use every single shade, which is a rarity for me. It has a subtle chocolately scent which I love, and the quality of the shadows are amazing, even more so for the price of £7.99
I was most excited to swatch and test out the Lip Hugs, which I’ve heard such great things about. I picked up 4 different shades, and received another as part of the free gift. Already, I’m really impressed with them, they have the most comfortable formula and are so easy to apply – it’s hard to believe they’re only £2.50 each! I’m really happy with the colours I picked up as well as my freebie, as they’re all such wearable shades. My full review of these is here
Overall, I’m really happy with my haul, but it’s definitely made me want to order more from Makeup Revolution! I especially want to try more of their eyeshadow palettes, and I need more Lip Hugs in my life. Makeup Revolution are always on trend with their constant releases, bringing out quality items for a such reasonable prices. They’ve achieved so much in such short time, I honestly can’t wait to see what else they bring out in 2015. You can read my full review of their Lip Hugs here and their Ultra Blush Palette here.
