My Little Dream Box Review

My favourite monthly subscription service is My Little Box, a french company who send out a box containing beauty and lifestyle items, both from popular brands as well as their own in house brand. Each month there is another new, and well executed theme and April bought around the My Little Dream Box.

This month My Little Box have sent out 3 beauty items, and 3 lifestyle items – all of which I’m extremely happy with. Every month in the box there is My Little World, a magazine that contains interviews, makeup, tutorials and nail art and loads more, I actually quite enjoy reading this every month as it has great bits in it. This time, its a huge sheet of paper that has been folded up, on one side its a poster of a girl with the quote ‘Everything starts with a dream’, and on the other are all the articles. I really like this idea, it looks like it saves a lot of paper as well as staples etc, and is really effective – I’m a fan! As well as this, My Little Box have added a little cloud shaped print with a quote from Walt Disney. This is so cute, and I’ve already stuck it up on the inside of my wardrobe door.

Necklace, “Bon Etoile” by Delphine Pariente

RRP £20 on
Inside the little white cloud package was this adorable little necklace, created by Delphine Pariente for the My Little Dream Box. On the front it says ‘bonne etoile’ which translates to Lucky Star. I’m personally not a huge fan of the pink string, so I think I’m just going to attach this to a thin gold chain I have spare. I think this is a really lovely lifestyle item this month, and one I will definitely wear after my little alteration.

Rotating Stamp & Ink by My Little Box

RRP £8 on
The second lifestyle item this month is a stationary rotating stamp, which has 12 different options and a little black ink pad. Recently I’ve started to really enjoy making crafts and little projects, so I will definitely get use out of this. It has some a combination of both French and English phrases, such as ‘Today I..’ and ‘Avec Plaisir (With Pleasure) as well as some mini clouds and star illustrations. This will be perfect for little handmade gifts and cards or scrapbooks.

Repairing Hair Mask by My Little Beauty

RRP £7 for 100ml on
My ends have been extremely dry recently, so this repairing hair mask came at just the right time. It’s been created by My Little Box’s own beauty brand and is targeted to dry and damaged lengths and ends. It’s a thicker texture than most hair masks I have used, so it’s slightly harder to spread through my hair but not unmanageable by any means. This smells incredible, containing walnut oil, and shea butter reminding me of summer and holidays. It left my hair feeling really soft, and my ends feel so much more nourished and in a lot better condition. I’m really impressed with this hair mask, I hope that My Little Beauty starts to ship to the UK soon because I would definitely buy a replacement when this runs out, especially for £7.

Solid Perfume by Sabe Masson

RRP £15 per stick on
I’m a huge lover of solid perfume so I was really excited to see this gorgeously packaged one from Sabe Masson in this months box. I received the scent ‘Copacabana’ which is described to have exotic notes and smells absolutely amazing. This is alcohol-free, paraben-free and contains wholesome ingredients that suit all skin types. I usually take a sold perfume stick with me on a night ‘out out’ as it can be used anywhere without accidentally spraying someone too close to you in the eye. I applied this about 5 hours ago to test, and I still keep getting whiffs of it every now and then, which I love.  I’ll definitely be replacing the one in my clutch bag for this one!

Lip Balm Loved by Lou Lesage

RRP £8 on
This gorgeous lip balm was created with Lou Lesage in mind, she’s a French actress, spokeswoman and singer who is always on the go. The red tinted lip balm is enriched with moisturising power, and subtly colours your lips without drying them. I’m not a fan of lip balms in tubs as I find them messy, but I have made an exception for this one. It gives such a lovely red tint to my lips without looking too full on, and it feels amazing once applied. This is perfect for those days where I’m not brave enough to rock a full red lip – I know I’ll get a lot of use out of this!

My Little Dream Box is my favourite box I have ever recieved from My Little Box, I will use everything I got and I absolutely love all of it. I love the theme and I think everything in the box ties in beautifully. The only criticism I have would be the string on the necklace, but that is just me being fussy, and I’m sure a lot of subscribers would love it. They’ve impressed me again this month, and I’ll definitely leave my subscription to renew again next month. My Little Box is £11 (+ £3.95 P&P) and I think it’s definitely worth it, the value of this months box was £58.

If you fancy reading my other reviews of My Little Box, you can do so here. What do you think of this month’s box? Would you subscribe to them?
