First up, sorry that this post is so late! I actually received this My Little Energy Box back in January, put it away to blog about and completely forgot about it. You can’t buy this box anymore, so sorry to tease you with this review! I do know that people like to see (me included) what previous boxes look like before signing up for a subscription box like this one, so I thought I would write a review anyway!
If you’re new to My Little Box, it’s a subscription box, based in Paris that is slightly different to your usual Glossybox or Birchbox. Each month you receive a gorgeous box, each with a different theme containing beauty, fashion and lifestyle items!
January’s My Little Energy box included;
- Talika Photo-Hydrate Day Cream (30ml Sample, Full Size £43.50 for 50ml)
- Nails Inc Nail Varnish in Tate Red (Full Size, £11 for 10ml)
- My Little Beauty Energising Mist (Full Size, £7.50 for 75ml)
- My Little Sports Bag (RRP £20)
- My Little Box Calendar (RRP £10)
My Little Box Calendar (RRP £10)
I’m not really a physical calendar type of person, I normally just use various apps on my phone but I think this is really cute and I’m actually using it by my desk. It has loads of cute images throughout with uplifting quotes, it’s just a lovely little calendar.
My Little Sports Bag (RRP £20)
I think this bag is such a great addition to this My Little Energy box, fitting with the theme, it’s a full sized gym bag, which will have plenty room for all my gym equipment (if I ever go) as well as a little pocket for anything important like keys. I think the design is adorable, it’s really lightweight and does feels splash proof. I love the slogan on one end which reads ‘Good Energy is Contagious’.
Talika Photo-Hydrate Day Cream (30ml Sample, Full Size £43.50 for 50ml)
I’m always on the look out for a new day cream, so when I saw this I was excited, but even more so when I saw the price on the little booklet. Worth over £26, the size of the sample is impressive. It gives you more than enough product to really get to grips with the formula and how it works with your skin. I love this cream, it’s really refreshing and light and sinks into my skin quickly, leaving no greasiness in sight. This has replaced my Vichy Aqualia Thermal for the time being, but I’m not too sure if I’ll splurge on a replacement or not just yet.
Nails Inc Nail Varnish in Tate Red (Full Size, £11 for 10ml)
I’m not a huge fan of nail varnishes by any means, but I was actually happy to see this from Nails Inc in the box. I love their nail varnishes, and this colour is especially gorgeous, a deep berry red. A full size version is always great to see, and I’m looking forward to wearing this.
My Little Beauty Energising Mist (Full Size, £7.50 for 75ml)
Coming up to spring/summer I think that this little (yet full sized) bottle of energising mist is going to become a great addition to my handbag. I love these kind of mists, especially for hot days, but even more when they smell amazing and contain some great stuff for your skin. Just like this one, which contains antioxidants, vitamin C and green tea, loooovely!
Overall, I was really happy with this box, everything feels so well made and the gym bag is adorable. January’s box was worth over £65 which is impressive, especially considering the box is only £11 (£14.95 inc P&P). My Little Box is my favourite subscription box that I’ve tried, by far. It always brings such lovely little lifestyle items, gifts and great beauty products which is a mix you don’t often find in today’s subscription box market. I’ve just received this month’s My Little Box and again I’m very happy with it – a review of that will be up very shortly!
