Pink Parcel is a fairly new subscription box, and one that I have only just come across but literally fallen in love with already. It’s a completely different concept to any of the monthly subscription boxes I currently receive, as it is based around making your time of the month lovelier, containing products that you need at the right time.

Pink Parcel Box

Pink Parcel Box Open

When I received my box through the post this morning, I was in awe with how ‘right’ Pink Parcel had got it, in terms of both the concept, the packaging and the items I got in my box. You can choose the dates you would like your box delivered so that it coincides with your monthly cycle, as well as choosing the brand of tampons that you would like to receive.

There are three sections of the Pink Parcel box – ‘for now’, ‘for later’ and ‘for you’. The ‘for now’ section is a little black drawstring bag which contains 5 tampons, ready for you to put in your bag straight away. I think this is such a great idea, as no one wants tampons rolling around at the bottom of their bag. In total in my Pink Parcel box I received 25 U by Kotex Click tampons, but as I mentioned you can change this brand for various other brands including Tampax or Lil-Lets.

Pink Parcel For NowThere are two ‘for later’ boxes which contain even more tampons, ready for your cycle. And lastly, my favourite, is the ‘for you’ section. This box contains some extra goodies to make your time of the month, that little bit nicer. Every item I got in this section, I thought was fantastic, so well thought out and I will genuinely use all of them.

Pink Parcel Elizabeth Arden

I was so impressed to see this mascara in my box, Elizabeth Arden is such a well known brand and one which I absolutely love. This mascara is in such beautiful packaging, and it feels really expensive. It is the full size item (10.25ml) and retails for £21 ,which is over double the price of the box alone! I actually really really like this mascara, it’s not clumpy and it doesn’t weigh my lashes down at all, so they keep their curl throughout the day. One problem I do often come across with mascaras is that they stick my lashes together, which means I end up looking like I have 5 or 6 spidery lashes. This is definitely not the case with this mascara, it seperates and thickens each individual lash giving a beautiful overall affect.

Pink Parcel Garnier Perfect Blur

Anything that claims to blur out my skin and pesky pores is definitely up there in my books. I have very large pores around my nose and cheeks that drive me crazy and I have yet to find something that really helps – UNTIL NOW. I am SO SO impressed with this primer in terms of blurring out my pores – it definitely works! I have tried many many different primers in my time to combat them, including Maybelline’s pore eraser and Benefit’s Porefessional but none of them have come close to the mark. This is, as you would probably expect, a silicone based primer, which aren’t really my favourite to use, so I will only be using this where I have enlarged pores, and not over my whole face. I will be writing a full review of this soon, as I am so impressed with it – so keep your eye out for that!

Witch is a brand I haven’t used in quite a few years, but seeing this product in my Pink Parcel has definitely got me thinking about re-visiting it again. Pink Parcel have hit the nail on the head by including this product in my box, as everyone knows, that your skin is not at it’s best around that time of the month. It’s a moisturiser that contains anti-bacterial actives which target spots and breakouts whilst relieving and defending against redness. It has a green tint in it, to help balance out the redness on the skin – which is something I suffer quite badly with after quite severe acne in my early teens. I really really like the idea of this product and it feels lovely on my skin – definite thumbs up for this one Pink Parcel!

Another very good pick from Pink Parcel here – who doesn’t love chocolate?! This 40g bar of organic dark chocolate contains maca, vanilla and cacao nibs. Doisy & Dam say ‘We’ve packed our bars full of quality super foods to give you a delicious treat with an extra boost of goodness’. Perfectttt….

Tea Pigs is a brand I have come across quite a few times, but the ‘tummy tonic’ tea bag isn’t one I have tried. This is another goodie that fits the theme of the box so well, I love how all the items are really well thought out – this will be perfect for those horrible tummy pains that come around during that time of the month.

Pink Parcel For You Items
The last item in my Pink Parcel is a free glass of house sparking wine at Cafe Rouge – I think this is such a lovely gesture and add-on to have in your box!

Overall, I am genuinely so impressed with Pink Parcel, I think the concept is amazing and they have pulled this off so well. Long gone are the days of having to run down to your local shop in a panic when you are out of monthly supplies. Not only that, but you will receive some really well thought out, and amazing gifts to make that time of the month a bit more enjoyable. I love and will definitely use every item that was given to me in my box this month, and there really isn’t anything negative I can say about Pink Parcel.

If you chose to sign up, your first box is only £5.95 including postage and packaging, and after that it is £9.95. I think this is amazing value, as I received 25 tampons along with gifts with the combined value of over £40! I can’t recommend Pink Parcel enough, if that time of the month gets you down and you are looking for a practical yet perfect pick me up, you need to look no further! If you would like to sign up, you can do so at their website-
