It’s been quite some time since I wrote a wishlist here on emilyloula, but I absolutely love reading them on other blogs, and my previous posts have gone down pretty well. So I thought today I would round up all the things I’ve been lusting over recently to show you guys in the form of a wishlist, as it is payday for me!
1. Charlotte Tilbury | Hot Lips in ‘Secret Selma’ > £23.00
I currently only own one Charlotte Tilbury lipstick, which I actually won last year in a Twitter giveaway and absolutely fell in love with the formula. When I saw that CT had bought out a new beautiful range of lipsticks – Hot Lips, I’ve been lusting over one ever since. Originally I had my eye on Hel’s Bells but I think Secret Selma is one that I would get more use out of – it’s just gorgeous! I’m excited for Charlotte Tilbury coming to Debenhams this week!!
2. Little Miss Blogger Mug > £6.99
As a huge tea drinker so I’m always on the look out for cute mugs. I’ve seen this adorable ‘Little Miss Blogger’ mug popping up on Pinterest and Instagram recently, so I couldn’t resist adding it to this wishlist.
3. L’Occitane | Precious Light Cream SPF20 > £48.00
I previously had a teeny sample of this in a My Little Box a while back, but I’ve only just gotten round to trying it out now. Whilst there wasn’t quite enough in the sample for me to completely review it and make my mind up totally, I was really impressed with the few uses I did have, so I’d definitely like to get my hands on the full sized version. The big plus for me is that this moisturiser includes SPF20, feels lovely and isn’t heavy on my skin at all – perfect for the summer.
4. NARS | Sheer Glow Foundation > £31.00
As a self confessed foundation addict, I’m really surprised in myself that I’ve yet to try out NARS Sheer Glow foundation as I’ve heard so many great things about it. From what I’ve read the formula and coverage sound right up my street, so I think I’ll be popping into Space NK to be colour matched very soon…
5. Benefit | Precisely My Brow Pencil > £18.50
I, like many others, got a taste of Benefit’s new brow range recently, as part of a few magazine freebies here in the UK but the one product from the range I’ve really got my eye on is there Precisely My Brow Pencil. I love how tiny the nib is, so it looks like you can get a really precise and natural application with it. Whilst I do really like the Goof Proof Brow Pencil I think the nib is a little on the large side for me, and that I would get on better with the thinner, Precisely My Brow Pencil as it appears to be similar to my beloved Soap & Glory Brow Archery.
6. Mi-Pac Python Faux Leather Bumbag > £16.99
As a regular festival go-er, bumbags are an essential for me, they’re just so much more practical for the festival scene, and means you can enjoy dancing rather than worrying about your handbag swinging around or someone reaching into your backpack in a crowd. There are so many snazzy bumbags around at the moment, and ASOS have a really nice selection, but the one I have my eye on is this faux leather one. It’s simple, looks bigger enough for all those festival essentials (hand sanitiser, lipstick & a portable charger mainly…) and is black with gold details – my absolute favourite colour combination.
7. ColourPop | Kathleen Lights Ultra Satin Lips in ‘November’ & ‘Alyssa’ > $6.00 Each
I have amassed quite a collection of ColourPop’s liquid lipsticks, both in their matte and satin formulas – and I’m a big fan of them all. Recently, my favourite YouTuber KathleenLights released some more products in collaboration with ColourPop including 3 new Ultra Satin Lips that I feel like I just HAVE to get my hands on. I particularly love the shades November and Alyssa but in reality I’ll probably end up ordering all of the new releases next time I’m doing a haul…
8. Jack Wills | Meadowtown Sleeveless Shirt > £49.50
I’ve always been a huge fan of Jack Wills, whilst it’s a bit pricier than the hughstreet, everything I’ve bought from them lasts forever as it’s such good quality – they do such fab hoodies! However, as I’m hoping that this hot weather we’re having in the UK is going to continue, it shouldn’t be time for a hoodie just yet! So this time, I’ve got my eye on one of their Meadowtown Sleeveless shirts, although I haven’t yet decided whether to go for navy or white just yet… It looks like the perfect material for the warm days and could easily be paired with a lighter jacket for the evening. Shirts that are fitted like this are what I tend to lean towards as I think they suit my figure better, and I love the little white peter pan collar and button placket opening on the front.
9. Jimmy Choo | Blossom Eau de Parfum > £36.00
Although this is on my wishlist, it’s actually a repurchase because I’ve just finished the bottle my Nanny got me as a thank you gift last year. This is one of my favourite perfumes of all times, I’m pretty rubbish at describing scents, but the official description is “a floral fragrance opens with bright and sparkling top notes of red berries blended with a citrus cocktail. A delicate heart of sweet pea and rose complements rich and sensual base notes of white musk and sandalwood” – sounds lovely right?! Definitely give it a sniff next time you’re in store if you haven’t already!
What is on your summer payday wishlist? Is there anything on my wishlist you would like to get your hands on too? As always, I’d love to have a read of your thoughts in the comments, and thank you so much for reading!
