WHATS IN MY EVERYDAY MAKEUP BAG #1

Finally, I feel as if I have ‘cracked’ my everyday makeup look, I’m happy with the products I’m using and I think they work really well together. So today, I thought I would share with you the products that I use on a daily basis, and what’s in my makeup bag.My Makeup Bag

My Makeup Bag BaseFirst up is my base, I use MaxFactor’s FACEFINITY ALL DAY PRIMER, which I absolutely adore, I’ve tried many many primer’s but I always end up coming back to this. It keeps my makeup on all day, and doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily at all. Depending on how my pores are looking that day, I will add a bit of Benefit’s POREFESSIONAL to my problem areas, but I won’t use this all over.

Next up is colour correcting time, and for this I use two of MaxFactor’s COLOR CORRECTOR  STICKS. I use the yellow stick to correct under eye circles, and the green to correct the redness on my cheeks and around my nose. These are really creamy and easy to blend, and do exactly what they claim.

My Makeup Bag FoundationOn a daily basis I switch between Benefit’s HELLO FLAWLESS OXYGEN WOW and Bourjois’ HEALTHY MIX. Both of these foundations give me really great coverage, Healthy Mix is a thicker formula whilst Benefit’s is fairly runny but I enjoy using both equally! I team this up with Benefit’s FAKE UP concealer, which is so moisturising and creamy – perfect for my under eye area!

To set my foundation and concealer I use MeMeMe’s FLAWLESS FACE POWDER in translucent, which is such a lightweight, breathable powder which I really enjoy using every day.

My Makeup Bag Bronzer and BlushBenefit’s HOOLA is my go to bronzer, as I find it the perfect non-orange matte shade which gives a natural looking contour and applies so beautifully. For my every day blush I reach for NARS ORGASM (review here), which is such a cult product but I 100% can see why. It’s such a gorgeous shade which gives me a natural pink glow with just enough shimmer.

Once my ‘face’ is done, I move onto my eyes – I know the majority of people do it the other way round, but it’s the way I have always done it and I just like finishing my look with my eyes.

My Makeup Bag EyesMy go to eyeliner is definitely Benefit’s THEY’RE REAL PUSH UP LINER (review here) which I literally haven’t put down since it’s launch earlier this year. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw how close the it gets to my lash line and it literally doesn’t budge all day! To brighten up my eyes I add a bit of bareMinerals PRIME TIME  to my lids and on my water line I apply a teeny bit of Rimmel’s WHITE SOFT KHOL EYE LINER.

The mascara I use changes quite regularly as I love trying out new formulas and different brushes, but the one I am using currently is Elizabeth Arden’s BEAUTIFUL COLOR MAXIMUM VOLUME MASCARA. This is a really lovely mascara, it doesn’t clump and leaves my lashes looking really volumised whilst keeping their curl.

My Makeup Bag BrowsFor my brows I run a bit of Maybelline’s BROW DRAMA through them to keep them in place, and then I use So Susan’s DUAL BROW POWDER to fill them in and give them some definition.

My Makeup Bag LipsLast but not least I will finish my daily look with a dash of colour to my lips, whether this is a tinted balm or a less daring lipstick. At the moment I am particularly fond of Benefit’s BENEBALM (review here) or Wild About Beauty’s NUTRILIPS COLOUR LIPSTICK in Bobbie but these change regularly

So that’s it for my daily makeup bag, I hope you enjoyed this post and please let me know if there is anything or any products you would like me to go over or review in more detail!
