Yankee Candle Tart Haul

I absolutely love candles, but one thing I’m not the biggest fan of is spending £20+ on a huge singular scent candle. I like to mix and match and try new scents all the time, without committing to a singular smell. So because of this I always end up buying Yankee Tarts for my burner, which are a great way to try out some of Yankee’s amazing offerings.

I made my order from yankeedirect.com, after reading Shannon’s haul post over on Strawberry Kiss. When I made my order, they had an offer on for 10 tarts for the price of 8 (which is still currently running at the time of posting this), so I jumped at the chance and ordered 10 delicious smelling tarts.

The tarts I picked up were;

> Sicilian Lemon | 94p
> Fireside Treats | 94p
> Summer Scoop | 94p
> Honey Blossom | 94p
> Snowflake Cookie | 94p
> White Gardenia | 94p
> Cranberry Ice | 94p
> Christmas Eve | £1.20
> Candy Cane Lane | £1.20
> Baby Powder | £1.20

Quite a few of these aren’t ones I had tried before, which was exactly what I wanted, but I did pick up some of my favourites like Fireside Treats and Baby Powder. I also added a few Christmassy scents to my basket, to get me in the mood for the festive season! Sicilian Lemon is the only tart I have burnt from this haul, and it smells amazing – just like sherbet lemons!

Yankee Candle Tarts 3

Yankee Candle Tarts 4There is 8 hours of scent per tart, which I think is amazing since some of these tarts only cost me 94p! If you haven’t used tarts before, there is no wick and no flame. All you do is place the wax tart in a burner, and light an unscented tea light below, as the wax melts, it releases the scent.

Once there isn’t much scent left, I wait for the wax to harden and cool, then place it in one of my drawers to keep my clothes smelling fresh – which really does work!

What do you think of Yankee tarts – have you tried any? What’s your favourite Yankee scent? x

lots of love;

    These look stunning! Where I stay a Yankee Candle wax tart costs R70 (4.2 pounds) so I rarely ever get them but I have a friend in Canada sending me some in a few weeks. Your post has given me some lovely ideas of which flavours to ask for! Especially the Lemon and Snowflake Cookie 🙂
